My name is Laurel Carr. I am married to Dwayne Carr.  We have a 12 year old son named Evan Carr and a 7 year old daughter named Brenna Grimes. I graduated from Georgia College and State University in 2001 with a bachelor degree in Middle Grades Education. I went on to receive my masters degree from Georgia Southern University. I began my teaching career at East Laurens Elementary School. I taught third and fifth grades while I was at ELE. I taught at ELE for 11 years. This is my 5th year teaching at Northwest Laurens Elementary. This is my 16th year teaching. My favorite subject is Math. I will be teaching Math this school year. I love my job.
