1. alternate- happening or appearing in turns; every other.; being a choice between two or more things

2. bland- lacking a strong flavor

3. convert- to change from one form to another; to change someone’s religion, opinion, or beliefs

4. intense- very strong; very great

5. navigate- to move or direct (a ship or plane) along a certain path; to make one’s way

6. pedestrian- a person who is walking; someone traveling on foot; dull or lacking imagination

7. require- to need or demand

8. retire- to stop working

9. revert- to go back to an earlier condition, often one that is not satisfactory

10. sparse- small in number or extent; thinly scattered
