Welcome to my 4th grade classroom! I teach social studies which includes history, geography, economics, and government. Our school days are filled with lots of new things to learn. This is my 16th year of teaching at NWLE where I taught computer for one year and 3rd grade for two years, but LOVE teaching 4th grade! I truly love my job!

I earned my Doctorate degree in Teacher Leadership in 2011 from Walden University; Master's degree from GA Southern, and my Bachelor's degree from GA College and State University. I have made learning a huge part of my life. I have a wonderful family which includes my husband, Tom,  two children and their spouses; Ashley and her husband Brian, and Cory and his wife Asia. I have three adorable grandchildren, River, Ava, and our newest addition, Sadie. They are all the light of my life and I love spending time with all of them!
