Makeup Flu Clinics

The Laurens County Health Department will be conducting makeup flu clinics for students who were absent for the first school flu clinic.  Also during this time, children 8 and under who need a second dose of flu vaccine will be vaccinated if they returned a consent form for a second dose.  A limited supply of flu mist is now available, so if your child was not vaccinated due to a flu mist shortage, they will have an opportunity to receive the flu mist if they have not already been vaccinated. The dates for the makeup and second dose flu clinics are as follows…

December 8 - Southwest Laurens, West Laurens Middle and High School

December 10 - Northwest Laurens

December 16 - East Laurens schools

If you have questions or concerns, please contact the Laurens County Health Department at 272-2051.

Georgia Schools' Parent Survey

State of Georgia mandates that a school must have its PARENTS complete an online climate survey.  It's that time of year and we NEED your help! The survey is below. Please click the link and take the survey for each child you have enrolled in an LCSS school. The survey should take no more than about ten minutes. If you do not have internet available at  home, please come into our school one day this week  before Thanksgiving holidays to complete the survey. The results of this survey impact our annual CCRPI score that replaced AYP. Thank you in advance for your help with this!
