Alzheimer's Awareness Month Nursing Home Fundraiser

The National Honors Society is holding a fundraiser during November for Alzheimer's Awareness Month for local nursing homes. Purple is the official color of the Alzheimer's Awareness Movement, so NHS is selling purple wrist bands everyday during break in the atrium and in rooms 216 and 217 for $2.00 a piece. All of the proceeds will go to local nursing homes to help with their financial needs. Show your support and purchase a purple wrist band anytime during the month of November!

National Honors Society Serving at Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity has started a new project for the first time since the onset of the pandemic. The Christian organization is building a house on Parker Dairy Road where National Honors Society members have been volunteering for three weeks. The first weekend the house was framed, and this past weekend, on 11/13, NHS members helped put up the outside walls. The house will hopefully be finished near the end of February 2022. NHS plans to continue to serve the community through Habitat for Humanity until the house is finished.

WLHS Students

If you are a student at WLHS and have been quarantined, please use your Google Classroom to access your assignments. You may also contact your teacher through Google Classroom or Remind if you have any questions. It is your responsibility to check for assignments every day, complete and turn in work to be graded, and communicate with your teacher if you need assistance.

If you are absent and have NOT been quarantined, please see your teacher for missed assignments when you return to school. Google Classroom is being used for students who are quarantined by the school only.  At this time, WLHS is NOT offering virtual classes as an alternative to in school learning.
