School Closings (9/14/17) - Hurricane Irma

Laurens County Schools in Dublin, GA, will be closed for students and staff on Thursday, September 14, 2017.  As of noon today, many of our faculty, staff, and students' families remain without power to their homes; additionally, two of our schools remain open as Red Cross Evacuation Shelters.

We expect that as Hurricane Irma evacuees are relocated from our schools later today, we will begin the dismantling and cleaning of our facilities so that we can resume normal operations as soon as possible. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.
