Destruction of Records

Destruction of Records: The Laurens County School System is reviewing old and inactive special education files for the purpose of destroying those that are no longer needed to provide services.  Records of students with disabilities who are 30 years old or older will be destroyed September 2017.  If you are interested in obtaining a copy of the records prior to destruction, you may call Cheryl Rector 478-272-4767 and arrange a time to pick up your special education records.  The deadline to request records is Friday, August 26, 2017 by 3 p.m. 

Pre-K Openings

The Laurens County School System has a limited number of Pre-K openings available at some of our Pre-K sites for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year. Wait list forms are being accepted at the Laurens County Board of Education, 467 Firetower Road, Dublin, GA 31021. For further information, please call Cassie Nicholson at 478-272-4767, ext. 1293.


New Traffic Routing

Parents and Staff: Eastside car rider traffic will enter and exit the campus from Ernest Stinson Road. There is a new 3 lane road coming into the car rider area. There are also 2 parking lots, a new canopy that connects the schools, and additional turning lanes. Please allow yourselves plenty of time, be aware of the new direction signage, and watch your speed in this new area. The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office is providing a resource officer and monitoring traffic. Thanks for your cooperation


Student Registration for 2017-2018 School Year

Student registration for all schools in the Laurens County School System will be held July 10 - July 31 between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 3:30 P.M. Registration will be at the Laurens County Schools Student Service Center (Old West Laurens High School building) located at 338 West Laurens School Road, Dublin, GA 31021.
